seems that minelab US has no use for there Canadian customer impossible to get an answer or a machine yet US dealers have lots of them
any of you guys can find a way to ship to Canada at decent cheaply

I ordered 2 the first day the dealers were notified, then 2 more the next day. Got the first 2, the one of the second ones was shipped Sept 8th and the forth one has been back ordered. Now I was told even though the second shipment of SE came in they was not enough to fill my back order of 1 SE for demo purpose. To me it looks like they are really selling much faster than they are getting them in, or not many coming in the country to fill the orders they have already if they sell out the first day both the first and second shipments.
If you want one you better order one fast as the third shipment must be sold out too that will come in next week I hear as I may got the one back ordered, but not the others.

Although the circumstances are different...I am in Canada, and Sandy Burton from Minelab went WAAAAY our of her way to make me a satisfied customer.
 
Just curious. I am sure you could call and at the least get put on the waiting list like everyone else. As far as shipping it cheap, Canada has its own set of rules about merchandise coming into their country. This is the problem. You may have to pay Custom, Duties and any taxes they impose on you. Hope this will answer some of you questions. HH, Ron@ Dixie

the issues you mention are not the problem just add to the cost
its the run around i got(or dealer got)

never had repair issue or any other till now this my third explorer love the first two
