Explorer SE Pro question about numbers?????

grumpy

New member
Evening friends. I got a question about the new Exp. Se Pro if anyone can pass on some info for me.
We have hunted for several years with th e Exp series, first the II and then the Se now the SE pro. The numbers on the SE Pro are not the same on this machine as the past ones. On a quater we get a 2 or 3 and a 30 or in that area ; On the older machines the quater always came up with a 00 29 ???
Just curious never had a coin come in up in this area before on the old ones. I understood (probally wrong) the only dif in the Se and the SE pro was the funny lookin coil???? Does work good tho, the funny lookin coil that is. Seperated good.
Thanks for any info.

Me Myself would never depend on #'s.....it all is going to depend on smartscreen location of cursor, to digital # to audio tone and depth...if you are not familar with explorers yet.....it will mean nothing to you....depending on your sites....dig it all but solid iron and get to know your bestest buddy. Then when you are very familar with targets responses...then you may discriminate appropriately.

Dont take notice of the numbers and use your ears :twodetecting:the numbers dont find you the goodies its the tones, if you take notice of the numbers you wont believe what your missing :yikes:as Mattockman says tis a gimmic

My buddy recommended that I get the SE Pro, he has 4 Minlabs (SE, SE Pro, E-Trac & the Excal) When I first got it he put in Bryce's program and told me to just listen to the tones, when I hear a good tone then look at the smart-screen to see where it places at. I have never once even looked at the numbers and this method seems to be working great for me. I have to say though, it was a huge jump coming from an Ace 250 to the SE Pro. HH
