I'm new at this and really don't know exactly how this works. Anyway, I have an Explorer SE just as sent from the factory, regular battery pack and rechargable battery pack with charger and factory coil. I bought this because it is supposed to be the deepest detector on the market, but I'm a White's man. I can't seen to get away from a Whites. Also have two extra hand grips because the original was not very good, I think it was put on up-side-down. I have never tried to change it since I don't use it.
