I know nothing about Explorer machines, what is the diff between the XS and the 2, are they good all purpose machines, I am looking for my next machine and don't have a clue what I am going to get, I mainly hunt old coins, and trying to get into the C.W. hunting, I will be gratefull for any info!
Thanks Greg

I have used both detectors and they both respond the same...very deep. I use the XS and it is the only detector I use on land and wet sand. It is not water proff so watch the water. I have a excal for the water.

Thanks a bunch for the info, I have been looking at both, and I think I can pickup a used XS at a fair price. Although I would love to buy a new Explorer 2, but don't have that much cash.
Thanks Again
Greg
