Eye ball finds - just for something to think about...what have you found that was unusual?

I have found some strange things. I brought home a weed eater I found in a park. It ran but had no spool. Cool thing was I had one like it at home but didn't run...but did have the spool. A quick swap of the spool and I now had a working weed eater.

I did contact the police and none was reported stolen and the parks and recreation people said they didn't lose one.

I recently found a large exercise ball - used in some workout video and sells for about $20. Its about 2 feet in diameter and a silver gray color.

Those are just 2 I can think of right now but there are more.

What have you found?

I have found countless tools on the road as I am driving. If I slow down while driving my wife asks, (What did ya see this time)

I have found a life vest and fishing baits that had been spilled out of a tackle box.

along side a city street. One of those for the car that plug into the cigarette lighter. Still have it and use it more than I like hahaha.

I've found a lot of things while metal-detecting and by looking down to see if I can find something wherever I go, especially parkling lots! Tennis balls, baseballs, softballs, a basketball...half deflated and my grandson, Joey, was able to put the air back in it! Different coins on top of the ground...one time I was taking my grandson, Nathan, to the school playground and while walking across tthe ball field, there was over a $1.00 worth of spilled change that someone running had lost out of their pocket...Nathan had walked right over it! I found a huge camera lens thing-a-ma-jig while detecting on a river's shore in southest MO. Found jewelry, $1.00 bills and 2-$10.00 bills at two different times, the corner of a $20.00 bill, tools and so many things that I can't even remember them all, plus I've lost tools...screwdrivers, shovels and tossed coins into a trash can while disposing of trash, so someone else could find them! Always had fun while out detecting...never know what is under or on top of the ground! Happy hunting and keep your eyes open for the goodies, ya all! :) God Bless! Betty
