F-44 PProblem

Just received a 44 for my grandson to use but the sound level to my head phones is about half what it should be. I have no problem with my F75, F19, Eurotek, or T2. Even tried different phone s. Same result. Any help is appreciated. Hate to send it back to F.T. because it could b something I'm doing or not doing.

You probably have already done this but, just in case, press the 'Menu' button until 'Volume' is highlighted and press the '+' or '-' button until the number '10' is reached. This will give the loudest nonferrous and lowest ferrous volume. Then try the headphones. As volume is raised above 10, the nonferrous volume stays at maximum and the ferrous volume raises until maximum at 20 volume level. I have tried three different kinds of headphones with my F44 and they all have very good volume.
