F 75 could ?????

Just a word of caution about the F75 11 inch stock coils.
My original coil completely failed after only 3 months of use. Fisher replaced it.
I used the replacement coil for 2 years and it also failed. I examined the coil
closely and found a tiny crack in the coil where moisture could have gotten in. I dried the coil in front of
an electric heater and it started working again. I encapsulated the entire coil with epoxy. But unfortunately
it failed again 2 months later.
Point is, examine your coil for tiny cracks where water could get in. If you find any seal them with epoxy.
They are supposed to be water proof where you can put the coil in water. But it will not be waterm
proof of cracks are present.
