F-75 F-75ltd Info Please

Hello, I'm new to the forum. I have been metal detecting off and on for 30 + years. I have always used a Garrett and a fisher gold bug. I now would like to buy a F-75 LTD. I am trying to do some research on prices. I called Kellyco, talked to a salesman about the F-75 LTD. We talked for a while answering my questions and then the salesman told me that there was no difference between the F-75 and the F-75 LTD. I believe the salesman was trying to push me into the Higher price set up ( F-75 W/ 3 coils). So my question to you all is: Are they the same? Please reply with any info you might have about this issue. Thanks, Patrick

welcome to the forum patrick there is a difference the ltd has boost and cache mode you should call a few other forum sponsers and shop around you will get a better deal im sure i just got a new f75ltd from treasure mountain detectors and got a good deal from ed there good luck hh

I cut and pasted from Kellyco's web page below.
You can go back to Kellyco's web page and go to Fisher detectors then go down to the F75ldt. Click on that for more information, you will see another picture of the detector and just below that picture you will see a blue bar that says Click To Compare this Metal Detector. Click that bar and then on the right of the screen you will see a list of detectors, scroll down to the F75 and click on that. You should be looking at a side by side comparison of the 2 detectors.

This is a good tool, I use it all the time.

F-75 First edition of the F Series Black and Gold in color.. No Bp or cache modes on this detector..

Next came the Camo colored F75 LTD ..Had Bp and cache mode

Then came the all Black F-75 SE Has Bp and cache modes.
Now called the F75 LTD Black version, All black in color. Has some versions revisions per postings ?????, Has Cache and BP Modes.

Only Fisher knows what the small differences are... between Camo, Se, and F-75 LTD machines.. Maybe none other than refinements...........if that.

When checking units for revisions the numbers are different. This may be no more than a way for Fisher to keep track of detector runs..

Regardless all F-75 detectors work well, and are capable of deep penetration into the ground for finding lost objects...
