F/S Minelab Musketeer Advantage

Seems I can't win for loosing. I had car issues so I posted my Musky for sale on other forums (my 90 day wait period wasn't up yet on this forum), ended up the car issue turned out better than expected and I didn't have to sell my Musky. Now my chainsaw is shot and need to buy another one, so I have my Musky up for sale once again.

It is a Minelab Musketeer Advantage, a 9.9 plus out of a 10 and works great. I made a cover for it as I didn't want it touching wet grass, dirt, etc. I paid $265.00 for it and bought a extra mount ($20.00) from one of the members on a forum so it would have the choice to mount the control box by the hand grip or under the elbow cuff. It has the stock slimline 7.25" coil and coil cover & the users manual. So I have $285.00 in it plus I figure $15.00 to ship it for a total of $300.00 is what I would like to get. The lowest I would go is $265.00 shipped in the USA. It is deep and sensitive, I have found numerous jewelry items. I will be busy figuring out what to do about the car but if you need any more pictures let me know but you have my word on how nice it is. Any questions interests get in touch with me at skiwhiz1960@gmail.com Thanks! Steve.

P.S. I have a guy in New Zealand that is interested in it and I know that he is a good guy as others have done business with him with no problems but I would rather keep the shipping in the USA if possible.

Steve, how does that machine do on shore beaches?
KVM2 if I told you it did greart or if I told you that it wasn't worth a darn on a beach would be a lie on my part. I have been detecting for many years using many different detectors and have not ever beach hunted with any of them. Just don't have any beach's in my area. I can tell you because detecting is my only hobby I do a lot of reading the forums/reviews/talk to others in other parts of the country, etc. and have been told the the Advantage does very well at the beach. Can't tell you off the top of my head but know that I haved watched youtube video's of the Musky being used on the beach. If person isn't dead set on having a display and aren't dead set on a detector with multi-tones the Advantage works as good and better than most beep&dig detectors. I have read that some find the Musky liking tabs and or iron, I have never had a problem with either. My intentions were for buying the Musky was to maybe get alittle more depth to find some goodies that I wasn't reaching with my previous detectors, and I figured in doing so that I would be giving up on the ability to get jewelry items. Well the Musky didn't let me down in either catagory, I love the Tesoro's very much but the Musky is deeper in my ground and hits on foil, jewelry, small rings very very well. I have had a couple tell me it is heavy, I don't like a heavy detector as well and if you mount the control box under the elbox cuff it balances perfectly, I can hunt with it all day. It has the slimline 8" coil and coil cover(actually measures 7.25") it is a perfect size and is very sensitive.

Camera made the pictures look alitltle "washed out" but the detector is clean bright & shiny.

Musky has been sold. Thanks!
