I used this on my Explorer ll and it worked great. It was repaired by me after the wires inside the coil to cable connection broke. It works good and serves its purpose. Now for the bad news. I took it to the beach and used it in the water and it ran erratic, so I'm assuming I did not get the connection waterproofed. I used 3M marine caulk but there must be a tiny leak. After it dried out I tried it again on land and all is fine. If anyone wants one of these to use as a land coil I'm not looking for a lot so send an offer. Shipping charges will be from 17402. After reading the feedback posts of late I want to say that this is a used, repaired coil with normal scratches. Coil cover was always used on it.
