F/S - Stainless Steel Older Model RTG Hercules 7" Scoop - BIG!

Dig

Active member
Hi Everyone! I am listing my older model Stainless Steel RTG Hercules 7" bucket scoop for sale. I am including a link to the newer model RTG Hercules for comparison. http://www.rtgstore.com/rtgroyalscoops.htm (just scroll down until you see 7" Hercules). Mine looks a little different as I have had a friend who is a machinist add a slight S bend to the handle to make it easier to manipulate in the water. I also find that it makes it easier to get the bucket into place to dig. I have also given the handle, kick plate and bucket top a good coating of spray on truck bed liner. It gives your hands and feet some grit to gain traction when they are slippery. I also epoxied a stainless steel ring into the top of the handle so you can attach it to your hip and drag it in the water. I'm kind of a fanatic when it comes to tweaking my gear to be perfect and if you want to dig really deep, really fast...this scoop is for you. It is a best of a scoop and literally turns a two scoop into a one scoop. It's heavy but you hardly ever miss your target. A new one retails for $249.00. Even though mine is in very good condition and has been meticulously maintained I am selling it to the first $160.00.
