For Sale: Sunray X-1 Probe (New Short Model) for Minelab Explorer S, XS, II, SE, E-Trac, Safari or Quattro. Probe is in excellent condition - very lightly used - less than 4 or 5 times out of the cradel. The probe cradle is permanently mounted to the top of the accompanying shaft with mounting screws - looks professionally installed. Additionally, the upper shaft has been notched on the bottom in order to allow the coil cable to run through the shaft where it exits just in front of the X-1 switch box connector - again, looks professionally modified but tight. Note - the yellow sticker on the left side of the X-1 switch box was removed - too ugly for me. Reason for sale - I just like my Garrett Pro Pointer better - it has no cords and my kids like to play with it. Yes, that is a custom mounted rifle bipod that I use as a stand - quick mounts to a fixed sling swivel - I like to keep my machine off the ground and out of the sand. I will advertise here until Friday, then it goes on eBay. $150 Shipped Continental US Only. PayPal only please.

Shane can you take a picture of how the shaft is notched to allow the coil cable to run inside the shaft? I am thinking about getting one and like the clean setup you have on yours. I understand mascard wants the probe..I just want a picture
