Here's a great detector in very good condition that was at the top of the Classic series by whites. It is complete with the manual and headphones, as well as some other papers. It was my backup detector, so never really saw that much use, and works great.
This detector uses the Blue Max loops which give it a 30% deeper reach than the standard coils. Coils are interchangeable, and it comes with the standard Deep Scan 950.
It has Sensitivity and Discrimination controls, both with marked presets for easy turn on and go operation. This detector can be run in All Metal mode, Discriminate mode, and Pin Point. There is an internal Ground Balance adjustment, accessed through the bottom of the case to allow you to maximize the sensitivity in your area. Also, a Frequency adjust control is on the back side which may be used to eliminate interference from other nearby detectors. There is a Black Sand/ Normal switch to allow true zero discrimination and better performance in black sand, saltwater beaches, or areas of high ground mineralization.
Three 9 volt batteries power this detector, and an LED indicates battery strength. Battery life is 30-40 hours.
The control unit may be mounted either under the cuff, or up in front of the grip depending on your preference.
The included headphones are Whites, with dual volume controls.
