Offering an X-Terra 50 (head serial number X50 00066) with standard Medium Frequency mono coil with scuffed, skuff plate (serial number M00781)(new nylon bolt as the original broke). This was bought new by me in 11/04/2005. I used it quite frequently for about a good two years before I upgraded to a 70. My brother has used it the last two years and it sat one year as a backup detector. This workhorse detector is used and will show signs (original blue paint has nicks and wear marks, not serious damage) of being out there doing what it was designed to do, find coins, jewlery and artifacts. I was very pleased with its proformance and my brother found it very easy to use as a novice detectorist. You can't beat the 50 for ease of use and a straight line learning curve. Excellent as a backup unit, for a young person (lightweight) or adult beginner in the hobby.
I had the unit gone through in May/06 because I was having battery turn-off problems. This problem still exists in their X-Terra line, but if you use rechargeables, then they seem to be a millimeter longer and it solved my problem. Minelab/Nevada changed the front panel and decal keypad at that time and gave it a good bill of health (I have paperwork to show that work)( today has minor wear to display screen and keypad).
Comes in original box, dismantled without batteries, instruction booklet, Training DVD. A good seven or eight on a scale of ten for appearance and in great working condition. Will ship immediately upon receipt of $290.00 by Money Order, Bank Check or Paypal. Not accepting personal checks. Buyer will pay $15.00 for priority postage, within the U.S.. Will not ship outside the U.S..
