Idaho is not MD friendly in January. The owner warned me that even though they had moved the house there in 1954 they had completely re landscaped and his kids had already metal detected the yard. I couldn't find even a clad penmy. So I started at the perimeter. 96 vdi and out popped ben from 8 inches down. Made my day. The f19 may not be a coin machine. It doesn't know it.

Awesome find Garry! I think the 19 is a great all rounder!

I'm hoping to take it to either the site of an old ⛴ or the remains of a homestead tomorrow. Depends on which is okay to detect. I can finally use the f19 for what it was marketed for. My first luv is artifacts

Thats a beauty and one heck of a trophy! :clapping: :surprised:

Those BF halfs are about the rarest old silver coin to find! Almost rarer than a silver dollar! Seriously, theres a LOT of long time hunters out there that have never found one! Actually more Barber and Walker halfs found than the BF's! Probably more silver dollars found than the BF Half...
Really a big congratulations!:clapping:
