I'm I correct in thinking you can hunt in 0 disc. with volume set to give iron tone a lesser volume than non ferros targets. Every video I've seen folks have volume set at 20. Just wondering if it's like the et pro in that respect.

Yes, 10 is no iron volume and 20 is max iron volume. Whether iron is iron tone or vco due to a low tone break it lowers or mutes volume of 1-39 vdi targets.

Beware. Not hearing any iron will cause you to miss the most productive areas. Set your volume at 6 and rock on.

We can all have our favorite and there are a lot of options. My preference was '13' which provide full volume on the non-ferrous targets and the weaker/softer audio on ferrous.

I believe we all hear and interpret the language of the dirt metal just a bit differently, so one setting that works perfect for somebody, might be gibberish to others...plus all areas and dirt are not the same, so its a good thing these magic wands have enough choices for a person to find the 'right' ones for them to use and understand....and the only way you can do that is to experiment with all the info from the long time dirt Masters on this Forum... Good stuff! :clapping:
