F2,F4,F5 COILS ?

Can you use the coils from one detector to another are they interchangeable or no ?
 
i think the 10 inch is the one you have left to get
either fisher or Bounty Hunter
F5 is a different platform
 
The coils for the F2 / F4 will not work too well on the F5 (older model).

The F5 uses an extra pin in the connector for the coil lead.

The F5 coil will not fit an F2 / F4 because of the extra pin in the plug.

Also, the newer F5 has a screw type fitting plug, the F2 / F4 does not, they employ the standard 4 pin din push in plug.
