F2 finally found me something big, shiny and silvery that I can wear!

Went to another park I have never been to, before, and I am really going to enjoy hunting this one.
One half is a baseball field, the other half has a picnic pavilion, a bathroom, an open field that appears to be used for soccer just by regular jewelry wearing people in the neighborhood, trees for shade lined up all over everywhere except on the baseball field and that soccer area, and even a drinking fountain that has great tasting water and is pretty cold if you give it a minute.
I mean, what could be a better site to hunt in the summer heat?

Well, I guess it could be a little better if there was actually something to find buried around here.
After today's hunt, something tells me that might not be a problem.

The second thing I dug after I arrived was a big piece of woman's bling.
This is not a kids ring but one of those decent costume types that department stores sell for about $10-$20.
It has some heft to it.
I didn't notice the big stone was missing from the middle, but this was found right next to a concrete pad and I know exactly where that hole is located so I will look for that stone next time I hunt here.

I also found a token, which I assume is used for machines where they have batting cages.

Next cool thing was a medallion.
No idea what it is for, but it is big and heavy...

I also came across 2 new additions for the fleet of toy cars I am building...

Digging conditions were excellent.
After a heavy rain 2 days ago the soil was just perfect and had dried out just enough in the last 2 days so it was not to moist and not too dry.
Add to this all the great things I found plus a little clad, and this would have been a pretty good day for me.

But wait....There's more!

In my first little jaunt around this nice little park I also came across something else.

I had been digging up zincolns throughout this hunt with the F2, and most of them were coming in as a 61 on the VDI.
I hit an area under one of the trees in a nice shady spot that had a little spill.
I dig about 3 zincolns spread out but within about 8" of each other, all came in about 61.
Then I dug a fourth one right near this area, also a 61 zinc signal, and I fully expected another penny, but this signal was no penny.
When I flipped open the small plug I saw the end of something shiny and nice, and I smiled...

Thick men's bracelet, 9 inches long, 21.2 grams, Figaro style 925 and made in Italy!

Only about $20 in melt, (which will never happen to this one), but checking out the net, this will set you back anywhere from $40 to about $110 depending on where you buy it.

Notice that as thick as this is, it still didn't come in like a high tone silver ring or coin would.
I have been telling you guys that chains are weird...those links diffuse signals on big and small chains.
If I wasn't the type of guy that digs all penny signals this thing would still be buried.

I have been hunting a couple of years and I am always looking for something that I can wear that looks good and I would be proud.
I have found some great jewelry in my time, but it has all been for women, or for a man but the wrong size, or ugly.

I don't wear bracelets often, but the next time I do, I now have something to put on my wrist that will make me proud.

Quite a nice haul for a short initial 3 hour hunt at a new site if I do say so myself!

Lots of area left to scan at this place, I have barely started.
Tomorrow, I think I will go back there and see if I am lucky enough to find a little more precious metal...maybe even gold.

You're right!
Almost exactly the same...that's the Figaro style, I have learned.
Congrats to both of us!

Nice. That clasp might not hold too good.

The clasp seems fine.
The reason this was lost is the ring on the other end holding the part that clasp attaches to opened up and this thing just fell off somebody's wrist.
I reattached it and closed the ring, but if I ever wear this thing I will keep an eye on it.
Heading to one of the local casinos next weekend with the wife and visiting mother in law for a little fun.
I will probably wear it on that day for luck.
Not sure it's needed, though.
Any losses I have at the slots I always manage to break even and maybe make back even more in the buffet...especially if they have shrimp!
