F44 History?

JRayfield

New member
I've read an article and seen one or two forum posts, that outlined the 'history', so to speak, of the various models of Fisher, Teknetics, and Bounty Hunter detectors. But, I haven't seen anything yet with regards to the F44's 'history'. For example, is the F44 a completely new design, or was it based on another already-existing 'platform' and if so, which 'platform'?

Based off 13 bit/Greek platform and shares a lot of love with the bh pro line. Control box, battery, and coil design are new. New features as well. Category notch tone choice being the best one IMO.

I have been very interested in the F44 but not much talk out there about it?? Seems to have some really good features for the $$??

It does have a lot of features for the price. That's why I bought one. Back light, volume control, rain proof, light as a feather. All the Greek series coils are compatible with it also.
