F44 Target ID

Does anyone have a list of where items show up on the target ID. Such as the different coins and jewelry"

Most detectors have the coin breakdown right on the face of the machine. In case you're doesn't these # are close: Nickels 30, zinc pennies 60, copper pennies 68, dimes 71, quarters 82, 1/2 dollars 91. Now jewelry is all over the place because there are so many shapes and sizes and also different materials they are made of, generally jewelry comes in lower than coins.

I never saw en exhaustive list for the F44 on the net but the manual has some basic information on common targets and numeric ID. I know for sure the numbers on the F44 differ from my F5 for same target. It took some getting used to the different numbering scheme.

The F44 reads slightly different on coins than the F75. The bar at the top of the screen is broken down into three segments. One for iron, one for low targets and one for high targets. After you use the F44 for a while, you won't need to look at the bar, only the digital number readout. The attached pic is from page 17 of the manual and is fairly accurate for id on coins and other targets. Just remember, jewelry can read all over the place as it has different makeup in metals and size. One can not make a chart on the numbers or sounds one will get from jewelry.
