Just ordered my new F5. Ive been seeing
a couple posts that people are talking about a F5
bible file by Mike Hillis but cant find it. Would
appreciate any help with setup of my new F5.
In the past ive always been a whites guy
but decided to try something new, liked the different tones.

I actually complied it from forum postings, most of the credit goes to Mike Hillis.
My original document file link is no longer active.

When I purchased my F5, inspired by Mike Hillis. I wanted to learn all I could about the F5 and keep any info I found into a word doc for reference.

Most of the info was pulled from various forum posts with most of the info pulled from Mike's postings.

After compiling the info thought other people might like it as well. Somewhere I posted the orig link to my file. I have since converted the doc file into a pdf. file.
Which can be downloaded off my storage site. It will save folks from searching forums for countless hours looking for F5 info.

Please go to my post within this thread, you'll find the link.

The file should make learning the F5 quick and painless and help with more successful hunts.

Sven thanks for providing the link however I am not able to open it.Not sure what i am doing wrong, tried going to the cloud storage but couldnt find file, Im not much of a computer person. Also if I click on tips and tricks link it says it cant be found. Thx for any help you could provide.

Well finally was able to open the doc:clapping:. thanks to Sven and stilpony for their efforts to help. And thanks to Mike Hillis for sharing all of his knowledge and experience with the rest of us. Its awesome to be able to go to this forum and get help with this wonderful hobby. Guys the info. in this doc. will be vital in getting the most out of our F5's, of course I know there are always improvements found by experience.

hi Yankee! I saw that you had posed this same request in a previous post I had on here, Sorry I didn't get back to you. I've been playing (a LOT) with the new F5 and have been neglecting the computer a bit. Sounds like Sven hooked you up with a link to the file. A LOT of great information in there. I read it all, like 3 times before I got the detector, and am gleaning through it some more now that it's here. I hope you have a blast with yours, I've sure been enjoying mine. I work two 7 day weeks back to back, and then get a weekend off, so I've just been playing in the yard, which is FULL of pull tabs and can slaw, so it's been good practice. I'm going to make a test garden in the back yard to hone my abilities. Hope to see some goodies from your end soon! :yo:
