F5 id jumping all over the place

Went out this morning on the beach and set the F5 as usual and started out and the the numbers on ground and id just going crazy, leveled out the numbers with ground balance and started again, acted like electrical interferance so i changed to another frequency but no help finally after rechecking everything i lastly thought of the cable and sure enough it was about two turns loose, tightened it up and all problems solved.

The connection on the F5 is hard to get to so i will be checking it more often to make sure it stays tight.

Thought this might help if someone else is having this problem.

That cable connection is hard to get at....thanks for letting us know, and it's good that your problem was fixed so easily. HH

F5 cable must be tight. The push in cable never worked on my F5. Change to screw in type no problems
