That's why I like the CZ20 so much(which I used yesterday with gloves on), there is plenty of room, even with dive gloves on.
And getting to the Tone & Notch pads with a gloved thumb looks like it might present a problem, as those are so close to the coil rod. That being, the way the rod is inset into the control housing the coil rod may divert a gloved thumb up against the knobs. Let's see what the bleeding edge users find out.
