F5 Question

Happy New Year everyone. On my F5 most places I can run it at max sensitivity and max threshold in disc mode. I wanted to see if most can do that or if that's not normal. I know on the Omega I can almost never get it close to max sensitivity. Thanks.

I had the F5 and the Gamma (same circuitry as the Omega) and they operate very similar. Yes, I could run mine wide open with very little noise. That sounds normal performance....

I too found I can run the sensitivity and threshold wide open while in discrimination and still have my F5 run stable/quiet. The one negative I

Certainly the one F unit without all the EMI problems even run wide open in most cases.

I understand some early units were noisy but Fisher corrected the problem with more effective shielding.

No depth demon but accurate ID with may positive features at a moderate price...
