F5 sure loves quarters...

Out for 3 hrs and got 19 quarters, 23 dimes, only 4 nickels and 12 pennies, one a 1951s.($ 7.37) No jewelry but I tried. Dont know what that round thing on the bottom is with the hook. Some kinda button?? Kinda heavy if it is.Nothing deep. That F5 is sure a coin magnet. Picks up some really small stuff so no wonder its good for jewelry, tabs, pencil stubs, foil... Three hrs was my limit today I recon. Now to rest up:))

That was a nice haul for 3 hrs. There is not doubt that the F5 does a great job on coins. I am going to start digging more of the iffy signals to see what is there. Most of the time I am digging those clear coin signals and I start passing up the iffy stuff. Nice take.

That is a nice haul, haven't got out this year yet,but will start as soon as the time allows.

the F5 is a great all around machine.once hit a penny at 8" with mine, that round thing with hook looks like maybe it went in a horse reins or other tack-just a guess that other thing looks to me like part of a mechanical pencil.try different settings on that machine and you'll be surprised what it will do.-also if ya don't already start reading and paying attention to Mike Hillis posts-ya may learn more about F5
