F70 finds silver again

Coinseeker 78

New member
Went detecting at my neighbors yard this evening. I was using my F70 with the 5 inch coil. The settings were Disc 0, Sensitivity 60, Threshold 0, sounds 4H, Speed DE.. I found several deteriorated Lincolns, a couple of dimes all at about 3 inches. Then I got a signal at 5 inches that turned out to be a Wheaties. About 10 feet from the Wheaties I got a 6 inch deep signal and dug a 1964 Rosie. Needless to say I will be back tomorrow. This detecting system is turning out to be a winner with each days gain in experience and the great help from this forum. By the way, the Rosie was masked by iron and I was able to rotate and get a decent signal. It's out there all you need is a decent detector and take the time to learn it. It doesn't have to be the most expensive detectors out there. I compete very well with my hunting partners with there E-tracs, Explorers and Whites. Not to knock them because I have owned them in the past and they are superb machines. With my F70 and AT pro I have the field pretty well covered and find plenty of action wherever it exists.

Good Job Coinseeker! :clapping: Sounds like you got a winning team there, I followed your lead on the gear as well, they seem to really get along nicely.
