F70 Opinions

Good Evening Ladies and Gents,

I've been using a Bounty Hunter Land Star and a Whites IDX for a while now and have recently started looking at the Fisher F series, the F70 to be precise. I was hoping that if yall are willing, you could share your experiences and opinions on this model of detector.

The F70 is pretty good on all around general purpose hunting. beaches, totlots, fields, its really light and fast. batterys last a very long time. Its a good platform with lots of features so a person can tailor the tones and programs for all kinds of general treasure hunting. I've had mine for 3 years this coming April 1st, used it in all sorts of weather, snow, wading in the water, all around the Country, nearly constantly, with no mechanical or service issues. I have the 11"dd coil. It pays for itself twice per year at least. Once on clad and again on gold and silver. l would not ever be able to part with it...in complete happiness, especially with the DP tones, its very hard to go back to a 4 tone machine after using DP..

I intend to be a wide range hunter if possible. I'm moving out to east coast pretty soon and I plan to do all of it from prospecting to relic hunting and everything in between. Thank you both for your posts, They were very helpful and informative.
