F75 11/14 upgrade. Is it true?

12-14 vs 1-15. I was wrong lol see my post titled "It's back"
 
Ones with a 1214 serial and newer seem to be fine. The audio is noticeably better and not as laggy in DST. I still feel 9.0 is the hotter mode and little noisier. I haven't been able to test but that's because it definitely hotter and I'm limited by emi in my house much more than the 11-14 unit. Finally thawing a little and getting out Saturday to put it through it's paces.

My 11-14 is going back Friday or Monday. It actually works GREAT in 3H tones, BP mode, @ 99 sensitivity with 0-4 disc. But yeah has the 2-tone ma-maa bug....sounds terrible/unusable pinpoint, and seems to have some depth loss in AM mode.

I just got a T2 12/8/14 came to me as the old model....then had to get the T2 exchange...that left a bad taste in my mouth.
Just bought a F-75 1/20/15 The F-75 Showed up with 11 14 software and the All Metal depth seems to be lacking....so i`m not sure what`s right or wrong at this point .
Two top of the line Detectors one Teknetics,one Fisher....i should be dancing....but i`m sitting here in my chair...head spinning and wondering how this stuff gets Out of the Factory, and Past the nation wide distributed..

Just curious .Where did you get the two models from.... Was it an internet sale, or a dealer who sent you old stock.. No names are necessary just a dealer/internet answer will suffice.

The T2 was sent to my dealer form the factory as upgraded to DST....it was not ...but had one little piece of paper in the packet with rubber washer the paper said DST model...it slipped through the cracks some how.
The Fisher F-75 Was sent straight to me through my Dealer ...form a big Nation Wide Distributed...my dealer did not send it.
I realize the upgrade was a very big undertaking for First Texas ...and i`m thankful that they did it.
I`m sorry for whining...FT is a great co. with wonderful engineers, that make great machines....my luck just stinks.
