Yesterday I posted F75 problems detecting at old school..Well that was my fault. Did not have coil connector all the way in ..Made machine act up...Duuh
I feel so stupid...

Todays hunt..Old farm House

Yes I hunted it before..But not with F75...

1- 1951 Franklin half
1- 1920 Walking Liberty half
2- Silver dimes.I-Merc1- Rosie

Three clad quarters
1 penny
1 nickle
2-dimes
assorted trash...No picture of all trash..but pictured is pull tab that reads as coin 61
washer read at 71
Electrical connector read 75

All, in all not bad for a prior hunted by me area...F75 was able to get coin readings next to the trash..some iron or rusty things did read as coins 61 to 75 readings..but confidence meter did not go to top... I am happy

Forgot DE mode Disc at 6, 4H tone Sens at 72

Franklin 7"
Walking half at 6"
Rosie dime at 10" hmm wonder why so deep
Mercury dime at 7"

The rest from 4" to 7"

I AM GOING TO SAY AGAIN..Most comfortable detector I have ever used....It is so nice swinging this F75..No stress on arms, back, or shoulders..and it goes deep...........I know I keep saying it almost every post...But it's such a pleasure, if you have problems with weight or injuries get one

Awesome job and sweet finds Xlt..thanks for posting..The F75 will getter done..

Nice job XLT looks like your dialed in Ive got 4 mercs and war nickle bunch of wheat's last two hunts just gotta get out more

If you pay attention and get all correct before you go detecting it works very well...I did notice it works best out of city situations.
The machine is so sensitive you get a little noise in the back ground if you run high sens in the city..But hey, you do not need high sens for good deep targets on the F75.
This isn't your daddy's detector..to steal a phrase from Oldsmobile...

Yep, Im trying different methods and settings to see what produces the most. I hunted the wet sand this morning and tried a guy named Tinfoils settings, which was all metal motion, sens just below 30, manually ground balanced at 12(varies to the beach) and frequency set at 7. I am really starting to like this all metal mode the best, there is a audio variance between targets which along with the meter really helps in deciding what is what. Im getting pretty good at bottle caps too. one thing you gotta do alot on the beach is ground balance alot. wet sand varies from 0 up to 12 or so and then the dry sand from the 30s up to the 70s(76 is the highest Ive seen it).
I found about $7 in quarters alone today, and I usually dont dig those and in fact passed quite a few up but there were so many and I was getting very little foil I said why not and started scooping them up along with the dimes:beers:......got a little over $10 in change in a couple of hours of hunting and then time to go, fishermen and bathers started pouring on the beach and I dont like being there when they are there.
Gold soon, no doubt.......

one is the ferrous graph, that cant be used for target ID, to tell if a target is ferrous or not, seems that is for the ground. I dug a pull tab today in black sand that made the ferrous meter go up 3 bars, so it reads the ground, not the target. It had an accurate ID on the tab by the way which is great.

Also I saw the plus sign a few times and noticed the meter rode up the scale, 98, 99 and then plus sign. all times this was a hot rock, a dark rock that read real high. so I guess the plus sign is anything above the highest ID target number.

One thing that really stands out is the ID. Its really doing a great job at that, even at depth. The deepest signals ride the ID higher but mostly its right on the money. Im impressed.

And did you increase sweep speed?
You are in the correct area for rings when you hit coins/sinkers and heavy objects.
Tabs & foil being lighter settle in a different place, that is if you are hunting things brought in/uncovered
by the waves. If its high up where people suntan and play, things get intermixed.:detecting:

Where was most of the stuff located; front yard, back yard or in general just all over? And how much
was intermingled with/next to trash?
Don't you wish you could swing two at once, given the light weight, F-75 USER?:fisher::detecting:
AND WHEN ARE YOU GOING BACK?:hot:
(Maybe that 1921 Merc. is waiting!)

Standard 11" DD loop.all found in side yard next to a large porch. Home has had as many as 14 children at once living in it... now down to none.
Could not have found coins due to trash except using fast response F75.
