F75 and wet sand at Cocoa Beach

I used my F75 in the wet sand at Cocoa Beach and Port Canaveral two days ago and it worked fine. I set my sens to 25 and did a manual ground ballance at 0 or 1 if the sand was really wet if not then at 5. I turn sens back to 55 to 65 and it seemed to work fine. I dug a pulltab at 11 inches and quite a few coins but not any deeper than 6 inches. If the coil goes into the water then the bell rings. If I skim the top of the water then it works fine. I tried in different modes but ended in J mode. I was quite pleased and hunted about three hrs with no luck on gold but this weekend I will take a small 10k gold ring with me and test in the wet sand. I'm sure each area is different but at Cocoa Beach I was pleased.

on my beaches in wet sand. Even though it does not have a salt mode per say, mine ran fine on BC mode & sensitivity around 50 or so.
Thanks for the report & let us know how you do with that gold ring...

before you put in the sand. I took this quote from http://www.dankowskidetectors.com/loveisdeep.htm
and I believe it. Tom if you are here I hope you don't mind the quote.

"Recently, I went to the beach to perform a comparison test between two leading brand detectors. My test target was a woman

Thanks for the info. Tom is a friend and lives just up the road from me. I will use a string or dental floss so I won't loose the ring. Can't wait until tomorrow...
