F75 DST on vs DST off

I'm interested in learning about the differences when DST is turned on and when DST is turned off on the F75 in sites where there is no EMI present. Thanks

Testing by NASA Tom on my unit showed 0.2 inches deeper on a dime with 9.0 - DST off. 0.3" deeper with DST off and 5" sniper coil.

I hunted for awhile with both 9.0 and 9.1, I settled on 9.0 best for me.

Keith Southern mentioned in his YouTube video about the F75 that there is a slight lag in the audio response with DST on. Have any of you experienced this?

No lag noticed for me, except when going to CL processor in DST on or off, that sucker has a pretty slow recovery speed.

I guess with having a choice of DST on or off is a good thing, but I couldn't see enough difference to get all that much excited about.

Had to use dst on one time and it did help me out with emi. Most of the time it runs smooth or a frequency shift is all I need. Dst off feels a bit more sharper to me, but it might just be what I want to believe. I know I love how the Fisher F75 has done a complete 180 in terms of emi handling. Quiet, simple, ergonomic, superb battery life with great performance. :fisher::super:
