I wrote down everyone's advise and went back this past weekend tried them all. I liked all metal/ motion / 80-99 sensitivity. I played around on the disc side but there isn't that much junk to tell the difference. I dug everything just to be sure. Lots of horse shoes,horse shoe pieces, square nails and more shot gun shells and a few modern bullets.
I didn't dig the quantity I was hoping for but I did dig some quality items. Well for me they are quality items! 2 .54 ringtail sharps, 2 .44 pistol bullets, exploded pin fire case and a small GS button.
I will wait till the cattle graze it down this winter and hit it again.
