F75 frequencies

New member
I know the F75 has 7 frequencies, F1 thru F7, that can be adjusted in order to avoid electrical interference and the default frequency is F4. My question is what are the 7 frequencies and is there any difference in their performance, i.e. depth, accuracy? I have been under the impression that lower frequencies had better ground penetration.

You can go back and do a search of my posts around the F75. Go back about two or three years.

I moved all my detector information off my computer and onto a thumb drive so I no longer have it handy to lookup and repost.

Here you go. I just had to look back at my posts for a couple three years until I found them again.

1 = 12,821 kHz
2 = 12,876 kHz
3 = 12,931 kHz
4 = 12,987 kHz (DEFAULT)
5 = 13,043 kHz
6 = 13,100 kHz
7 = 13,158 kHz

Regarding your question about performance...that was discussed at length in the past. There were some who sweared that "7" was better for the low conductors over all the others. Many couldn't tell a difference.

Hope that helps.

Great reply, Mike and I thank you very much. I did do a search and a Google to no avail. Your answer is surely better than anything I could have found!

Thanx for the excellent reply Mike,I had the same question.:super:
