F75 frequency ??

I've read that the F75 is a single frequency detector. I was wondering what the F1-F7 frequency changed if it's a single frequency detector?

It just changes to a slightly different frequency--still a single different frequency. Exa: default frequency 13.00 mgh--f1 is 13.10, f2 is 13.20 etc. This is JUST an example--the actual frequencies can be found in the specs.

Yep. uses a single frequency at one time but you can hop through 13158Hz, 13100Hz, 13043Hz, 12987Hz, 12931Hz, 12876Hz, 12821Hz to find the one with the least interference; should that be a problem.

Funny thing - I have an old copy of Western & Eastern Treasure and Charles Garrett is describing the advantages of a single frequency over multi-frequency detectors. ;-)

Pretty funny that a 13kHz wave is 75,000 feet long, 7kHz is 140,000 feet long, and we're only worrying about the first 18" of it. I have no doubt a good single frequency will beat a poor multi frequency every time.
