F75 helpful tip

Got a used f75 and in discriminate mode it would not hit gold rings. Tried 3 different coils steal would not do it. Someone one had really played with it. So I did a factory reset and it started working. It will get gold ring now. Maybe this will help someone.

Yes, yes, yes...A factory reset is your best friend on this platform, the F75/F70/T2 and the Patriot.
Notches once set cannot be unset sometimes, even though it lies and says it did if you unset them normally.
Only a factory reset will clear them out.
Could have happened here.
I have a theory that many of these units have been sold at fire-sale prices because of wonky behavior and clueless owners.
Fisher guys buy them up, do a reset, then happily go out and find great treasure.

Good job on the reset. It's also the first thing I do after changing coils.
