This is the first Fisher product I have tried. I have to say that I am impressed! I haven't even had time to take it outside yet, but I know this is going to be a fun machine.
Things I like already:
1. Light weight.
2. Sturdy for the weight.
3. Fairly easy to navigate menu.
4. Only takes 4 batteries.
5. Came with the 2 pc. neoprene dust covers.
6. Came with 2 velcro coil cable ties.
7. Very fast separtion.
8. Bright backlight.
I am sure there are many more things I will like and dislike about it, but these are my first impressions.
Here is a short video.

Very nice! Ive used most brands and i really feel good using fisher f series.. Im waiting on my new f75ltd now.. May be another couple weeks! Weather is gonna be too cold to hunt soon

Another awesome thing those four batteries last forever. If they ever quit unexpectedly you can get AAs anywhere. Get it fired up and see if it is quiet. Let us know how things go.

Sorry if I confused anyone in calling the Menu button a (Boost button) in my video.
I have put about 4 hrs on the f-75 now, and here are a few of the things I have learned about it.
Seems to me the PF(plowed field)mode goes deep and has a little faster response than the BP mode on deep targets.
There is no threshhold audio in Disc. mode.
Detects deep, but I have a hard time deciphering the good deep targets from rusty nails.( I am digging a lot of iffies at a pretty cleaned out site, so I can't say I have had any real dig me signals.)
The Confidence meter does seem to give a pretty accurate idea that a target is good or junk.
It likes to tip over like my xterra does. I am going to have to make a stabilizer for it.
Backlight stays on all the time.-(Surprising the batteries will still last an ave 40 hrs. with the backlight on all the time.)
I like the audio tones.(pitch doesn't really matter to me, but good for those who have some hearing loss.)
I am a big fan of PP triggers, so I love that about it.
I am not sure if it has programmable preset option?
The Disc (notch method) is a little different and more confusing than what I am used to.-(You can actually reverse a Discriminated out # by the Notching out the Disc # or #'s)
Runs pretty quite but then all of my other detectors do at this site as well.
Barely noticeable interference between garrett PP and f-75
The auto ground balance is more like a ground grab on the MXT Pro. It does not continually update as you pass over the ground. You have to manually push the trigger forward to update GB.
I think the Fast Audio is going to be more beneficial to me in the newer day, trashy areas.(athletic fields and such)- It gets a little more unstable when running wide open 99 in FA mode.
If I am reading it correctly, the manual says that the f-75 actually goes deeper with more discrimination? Also says you get a more accurate reading with a faster swing?
ALL in ALL, I like it. I have to put more time on it to form a better opinion on how well it performs in comparison to the detectors I currently hunt with.

PS. I did find 2-60's pennies at the site, so it could have been 2 silvers I missed. Like I said though, I was digging a lot of iffies to gain experience with this machine. Both pennies were solid hits one direction, and bouncing #'s the other.

Nice summary, please keep posting as you learn more. The FA mode on mine gives much less depth and is MUCH more likely to get RFI interferrence. Mind you, my house should be the official RFI test site since my neighborhood has all underground power lines and all my detectors sound like machine guns here if I am within 50' of the power service.

does the dst eliminate most of buried power emi and or buried dog fence emi?

My older unit with 7.1 firmware will pick up broken links of chain from jewelry at the beach if the power is turned up in the 90s. The link was 3/16" long and provided a repeatable signal.
took a while to spot with the pro pointer. Thought I was chasing ghosts.
My point here is if the spot you are hunting is very trashy, the highest power setting can pick up too many small targets and cause confusion. I am not a fan of running in high sensitivity.
I can run at a power level of 20 to 60 in bp and do quite well. I use the 5" coil only.
