F75 Ltd or T2 Ltd

Fire Fighter 43

I was thinking of getting either the F75 Ltd or the Teknetics T2 Ltd. Does anyone have experience with both and could you tell me the differences. What are your thoughts on these differences and is the F75 worth the extra $$. Thank you.

Been asked before...
http://www.findmall.com/read.php?58,1209380

From what I have read they are similar but there are differences in programming and features.
Some may be important to different hunters.
I am sure more will come on and post but this is what I have read....

The F75 keeps settings, has a backlight and BP works in all tone modes.
The iron disc range is smaller on the F75.
You can use optional concentric coils on the F75
Some say the threshold tone is a bit smoother in all metal on the T2.
There is more...

I have heard people talk about the T2 is better for relics, others say the F75 is and noticed hunters being successful at that with both....same on coins.
As always soil matters, where and what you look for might affect your decision.

I know people that have one or the other and seem to love them and find great things with either...deep too if that is what you are looking for.

I don't have experience with the T2 LTD, but I've read what some very capable and experienced detectorists have said on the two machines. The T2 LTD is geared a little more toward relic hunting, whereas the F75 LTD is geared a little more toward coin hunting. The F75 LTD is capable of a little more depth. Either one will find relics and coins, and are very capable machines. Whether you choose the T2 LTD or F75 LTD, the DST will make it a better experience in my opinion since it will reduce or eliminate audio from EMI.

Is the F75 LTD worth the extra cost? That's a tough one. :) A used one would narrow the cost difference, and some even have a transferrable warrantee. I believe both are great machines. I'm very happy with mine, and I hunt coins more than relics.

Thanks for the replies

Having hunted against a guy with his T2 and my F75 I can tell you they are both good detectors. The F75 favored coins, and the T2 favored gold rings lol and relics. That is the short version. The long version is too much for one post. There is some good info on here already posted.

The T2 is deep, but so is the F75, so your gonna dig. I prefer to glean or just hunt the top few inches for new drops. I found more silver with my F75 than the T2, but could be operator error on that one.

Im looking at your Detectors list, man you dont need another detector. But the T2 will do what you want. I actually have stepped down to a AT Pro and having a ball and finding stuff. But still go out and find me some rings with the F75 as much as I use the AT Pro.
