F75 LTD Questions on Coils and Settings

Good Afternoon Friends;
I have a 75 LTD and now that I have used it enough to be reallly dangerious I need some questions answered. First on coils; It is my understanding the little 5 in stock coil is a DD coil? The big stock coil that is strange shaped is it considered a DD or a consintric (sp) coil?
On settings I have been pretty much impressed with the bp and used it mainly however the sounds are a mystery to me; I am hearing aid wearer and without works best on the headphones but ; the more sounds i get coming in in trashy areas the more it seems to confuse; in clean areas i like the 4 H and the 3H but I get to much chatter in trash.? Is this normal should one use like the 1 1F or 2F in trashy spots? Also when you get trashy is the sens down like below 29 a good idea?
Sorry for so many questions but I figured if I didnt ask when i was thinking of them I d forget as usual and they wouldnt get ask til I went out again and still didnt know this:

I do mainly coin and jewelery in parks and school grounds of varing trash in highly mineralized ground of Colorado mostly.

In real trashed out areas I lower sens for sanity LOL..... But 29 and below puts you in low gain..I find 40 works well and gives a lot of depth..

I have also, in some trashed areas, found De mode works better with sens at around 60 using the 5" DD coil.

3H works pretty well in trash........ darn thing is so fast on processor you hear stuff you never heard before with other detectors very little nulling.. 3H lets me hear the Silver next to junk..4H is just too much and I have never tried the 2F .but would like to hear thoughts on it from others.


PS: There is a 10" concentric available for the F75, and a 6.5" oval Concentric

grumpy,I have ran it in so many setting that will work,like Elton said lower the sens. until you can stand it....2f got some good sound ,just listen for solid hits and then check the Target ID...BP process ground balance often....you can calm it down with the disc. also......I've gotten use to just adjusting it ,o-4 disc hot up to 15 calm....you will find whats best for you and your soil...just play with it.....hh......Dan
PS some one said a while back that deep button was reading 11-13 so disc at 10 will work quit also.

I have run mine as high as 20 if popping and cracking is constant.. And sometimes in a trashed out pull tab infested park it is constant.....
another secret I learned is in BP mode raise the coil over the ground a little..this helps a lot with small junk items, and the machine is designed to work best in BP with coil up and over the grass...You don't really loose depth much it just seems to smooth out the sounds better.. ??????
