grumpy

New member
I have a question about the settings on the F75 LTD ; If you are in all metals Motion for example and set the machine up where the things like audio pitch and have things where you like and switch back to like jewelry, or disc modes do the settings carrie over i guess it the question???
Also any favorite setups for hunting jewelry for the wife to use ?
Thanks

I think your settings are saved in "program", . On my F 70 I have two, the 75 might have more. I keep all metal in one program and coin settings in program 2. People who know more can help more than I

No programs, but when you shift from all metal to disc. your all metal settings remain, so when you switch back, they will be the same as you left them. Handy feature. Don't "jewelry" hunt perse. Just relics.

Ground balance will carry over weather you set it manually or fast grab.

As camp and jim said, disc stays as you set it, all metal stays as you set it...back and forth keep as you set them individually.

I don't hunt for jewelry specifically, but I find them as a bonus so to speak. Old coins are what floats my boat.

I run the 75 maxed out if conditions permit.

Well from my experience with my F75 as far as jewelry the JE mode makes objects more sensetive but doesn't actually help me find the gold....I run disc side and sens at 65 most of the times....If I find silver jewelry there is no problem.....Silver reads as coins......Now that gold we all know is foil territory which keeps me from digging most of the time......I bring home more trash than goodies when I play with the foils...I have found gold but it was mistaken for nickles....the tone was lower than a screaming nickle.....If you have the patience and time I would dig it all but I don't......I can't seem to locate small foil range gold.........................I love detecting no matter what I dig up.......
