F75 Overload ...

Okay went out hunting this afternoon - for a couple of hours. Great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Issue - when I left I put my detector in a bag that I carry a Tesoro Silver ... about the only thing that happens is the detectors sit in the back of my vehicle while heading out to detect. Otherwise sits on a shelf.

Anyhow, I must have put the detector in the bag with the power on. I thought I had shut it off. Anyhow when I got home I pulled the bag out and heard the tones going all over the place.

So question - is there any chance that I damaged the detector?

I've had it for about 1 year - still getting used to it.

Thanks

I don't think it caused any damage to the unit. It probably wasn't on for more than a few hours.

Maybe 30 minutes at the most.

Ive done it more than once!! Didn't effect the machine any. Important thing is to never leave them in a hot car or trunk. HH rickinmi

I've done that, too. You should be fine. Just a little battery drain.
