F75 processors

Just thought I would see if I am in the same ball park with others on the use of the different processors on the F75.

FA = I use this a lot for clad stabbing and working in the trash
DE and JE = are about the same for me, general hunting for coins, the JE processor seems get a little better depth
BC and PF= never use these two
BP = run it slow and hunt for deep coins, also use this one to push the depth on the little coils

BP in all metal = just started using this for coin hunting in worked out ares
DE in all metal = never use

That is one great thing about the F75/DST. You have the ability to set it up for the kind of hunting you do. For me, it is park/school hunting and none of the places I hunt are old so the coins are not deep. I use the FA mode almost exclusively. Man, the FA mode is fast! After using the FA mode, I am not liking the BP or DE modes as they are longer and drawn out signals. The FA is FAST and I like that! Yes, the FA mode is not as deep as the other modes, but I do not need the depth. If I was to hunt an older park, then I would probably slow down and use the BP mode. Again, the beauty of the F75/DST is the ability to set it up for the kind of hunting you will be doing.

ron you are using pretty much what i use.. works like a charm too.. i have found more goodies with the f70/f75 machines than any other machines..

I absolutely agree with you James/Texas. I only hunt in FA mode these days. FA maybe less deep than the other processes, but I can almost always run with SENS 99, making it at least as deep as my previous normal F75 in JE mode. But WAY more sensitive and WAY faster.

And with SENS 99, you hardly get any falsing, making it much easier to distinguish deep targets from the odd squeak and crackle.

WV62- That's pretty much how I run mine too. I use 2L tones and examine all nonferrous hits.

Good to see some positive comments on the FA processor, it runs real well with all my coils but seems that my favorite coil in FA is the NEL sharpshooter and if I want a real razor edge separation I would go with the NEL snake.

Anyway you slice it the FA processor is a clad stabbers dream, I have also noticed along with really nice sound separation the ID numbers do the same so you can get a good level of confidence of the target you are over with some short swings.
