F75 Question?

So do all the Fisher F75's have what I'm seeing
called "Boost and Cache Process"? I'm thinking
I want to buy a used one and some units advertise
it and some don't. Any other advise with reguards
as to what I should look for in this unit is welcomed.

Thanks In Advance.
Tim

Tim, The original f-75's didn't have boost.....the anniversary edition. The LTD's and the SE's have boost.

Just the camo colored, and the All Black Colored F75's have the modes you want. The standard F75 Black and gold colored does not...

No. Look for one with an all black upper rod not the golden color rod. There is also a camouflage model with the boost/cache mode too. I would look for the seller to say the detector has the bp mode( boost process) specifically. In my personal opinion the bp mode makes the f75 a much better machine.

Be sure to ask that question to each of the sellers before you buy.

One good thing out there about the standard model or the "gold rod" units is that they do have a watered down boost version. Its in the lower disc setting. But, the boost mode on the newer black models do really work in the grass and leaves and still will get unbelievable depth.

I sent you a couple pm's

I guess I have an earlier version since my F-75 doesnt have the Boost and Cache Process.
For some reason I want to say it's a SE version - without going to dig out the box to see.
With my type of hunting, maybe I don't need the Boost and Cache Process. Goes plenty deep for me for my general digs. Then again, without Boost and Cache Process, I might not know what I'm missing.

A lot of the confusion comes in because the non-boost f75s advertised on the box as 75th Anniversary Special Edition. If I'm remembering correctly, the boost units used the original box with just round stickers added to differentiate.

Guys I made a deal with Vance Detectors for the used F75 Ltd he had listed on the classifieds. I'm excited and can't wait to get it. I just wanted to take another moment to thank everyone who took the time to respond.

Thanks Again And Happy Hunting
Tim
