F75 set-up question

New member
I look at my F75 as having 2 sides- discrim & all metal. Do any changes on one side affect the other side. i.e. If I set the tone on discrim and then go to all metal mode does it apply? Another example- would setting the sensitivity on all metal side affect the discrim programs, etc.

Does the SENS setting carry over? Or, when in All metal, (Autotune for the F70) is the detector automatically as hot as it can be? Or does a fellow have to go through the program and adjust Sens? Always wondered, but just swung away and kept moving. Wecome to the Forum, WoofWoof, somebody should be along that can clear this up.

On my F-75 LTD SE the Mode..BP, DE, etc. is all that carries over to the All Metal side.

Check through this Forum I'm sure this has been discussed in greater detail.

The modes in discrim is all that carries over to All Metal. Manual ground balance in AM carries over to discrim. The discrim and AM has seperated sensitivity. Sensitivity in AM mode is also the sensitivity on the pinpoint.

The ground balance carries over from all metal to discriminate on all of the "F" series detectors

the only thing that "Carries over" would be the Ground balance. "Except" for the boost. If you switrch from Disc to All metal from one of the boost processes, then All Metal is in "Boost" as well. Switch from Disc to AM from one of the regular processes and then AM is normal. Everything else is stand alone.
