F75 stock coil on F70

John, after reading about it at this forum, when I ordered my F70 about 2 months ago, I also ordered the F75 11 DD coil. I have only been using the F70 this way, and havent tried the 9 inch that came with it. I finding it a nice combo. You can cover a field really quickly. I just today got a silver quarter (1947) and two Wheatbacks. I have used it at cellar wholes, it is amazing that it will find a piece of nail (1/8"-1/16") at like 8-10 inches, I am amazed. You have to get used to targetting, which Im usually finding drops toward the south end of the coil if you get my drift. I did wonder if I should of gotten the 11 inch coil thats made for the F70, but this all Im used to at this point and am finding a lot of stuff, including Buffalo nickles, IH Cents, jewelry and other things. I can get the machine to be very manageable and productive. Hope this helps.

Thanks for that info Osgood, sounds good to me. I thought the 11" coil for both machines was the same but I will check into it. Good luck with your hunting and thanks for the info.

I can only second what Osgood said. The big DD and the F70 make a great combination.

The armour scales and the small rings (8-9 mm diameter) pull out form heavy iron infected area. near/under power lines! I use DE mode there, after i get a weak signal turn SL and check.
The sandy soil was dry, and dialed.
