F75 Switching from 9.0 to 9.1 version. Why?

Just curious why you would want to use the non shield version vs the shielded ?

Even the 9.0 has DST, it's quite, and it's much hotter then the 9.1 mode.

Ok I thought the 9.0 was the original non upgraded version.

9.1 is DST off. 9.0 is DST on (according to the "new" manual).

Why would you want the digital shielding turned off? Is there an advantage to turning it off?

if you do some testing you will see that in dst you lose a couple of inches of .depth.

UNDRPAR a guy on NASA Tom's just reported that the guy at FT told him this am that Discrim. is stronger than AM. Is this true?

My 11-14 unit was 3-4inches deeper in am.hopefullly my new one will be as well.

I called Fisher and ask them about the 9.0 vs 9.1. They said the only difference in the two as far as performance is that w the DS on (9.0) the response speed was a bit slower. There wasn't any difference in depth. According to them.
