F75 & The 13 Detech Coil

What if any advantage can one expect for coin hunting with the 13 in. Detect vs the stock 11 DD? Looking for info from users, thanks Joe
 
You will gain a little more depth (1-3 inches) depending on target size. I really like the Detech coil myself but only when trash is sparse. It covers more ground than the 11 DD when time for detection is limited.
 
you are using a 7"DD equal to a 5" concentric; 13" Ultimate, equal to a 10" concentric, or about.
A Mars or Nel, is lighter, cheaper as deep or more----look at youtube.
 
I like the Mars Tiger as well. The Mars equivalent to the Ultimate would be the Discovery. The NEL equivalent is the Tornado.
