f75 threshold

Just playing around with a f75 and a t2 can anyone tell me if its possible to use the threshold when using the disc mode.I am not sure what the differences between the 2 detectors is,the f75 has notch and audio pitch and the t2 does not,there was no books supplied with them. I am testing to see which one will work the best in a junk area where gold was found
 
Can't say about the T2 but no threshold in disc mode on the F75.
 
the t2 has the hum level in all metal mode same as threshold, can not use it in disc mode for prospecting for gold i would use the all metal mode some good info here http://www.tekneticst2.com/manuals/T2%20Special%20Blk-Manual-061610-reader.pdf
