F75 tips

The F series detectors by First Texas are noted for their fast response. This gives it unsurpassed ability to locate and many times identify correctly the target surrounded by trash It ( fast Response) allows you to sweep the coil very fast over the ground with very little risk of not seeing a target as you move over the ground sweeping the coil side to side at Shoulder width sweeps. In general, if you are detecting an area where the desirable targets are more than 8 to 10" deep a faster sweep speed will detect to a greater depth and yield more accurate target Id's.

____Checking a Target____

To more accurately identify a target with the F 75 sweep shoulder to shoulder deliberate sweeps. Do not loiter over the target like you do with many other detectors. The F75 is different. Advanced target signal sampling with the processor produces the most accurate id with shoulder to shoulder sweeps all the way across the target. If you use other type sweeps you will loose the correct id. Utilize the confidence meter to gauge your proper sweep speeds and improve your techniques. As you dig more targets and become familiar with the Id system..you can tell a lot by the confidence meter. Most coins will give a consistent reading as they are made using a tight requirement for the coins Mint. In other words the US Mint makes each coin the same....

Ive got the F70 with the 11" DD and it is one quick broom! Great for covering large areas fast. like beaches, totlots, sports fields and sledding hills...the fins on that coil prohibit fast water hunting though. Just heading out to swing the local sledding hill for a few hours, going uphill with this thing, a guy can cover a 10' swath, and still pull clad in 8" of snow...Glad to see your post, I thought I was doing it all wrong, but the results say different, and now I know why.

"dead nuts" accurate!..elton!...makes it easy if ya check your confidence meter!
just sayin!
