Just a quick reminder that the F75 Upgrade ends April 30. No need to say anymore - just check it out on the Fisher Labs website......
 
I dont understand why they charge so much for basically a software upgrade when most other manufactures are offering free upgrades anymore.
 
The upgrade is not just new software, the whole detector is gone through and you recieve back a machine which has been extensively checked and any necessary repairs/sdjustments made. Here's what's on their website

Service:
With any upgrade we will trouble-shoot for common problems, give your detector a thorough tune-up and cleaning then return it in a new box with new manual. Typical turnaround time for an upgrade is 7 working days, not including shipping time (expect delays if ordered during the busy holidays shipping season). Existing warranty will cover any needed repairs and we will contact you if out-of-warranty repairs are needed.


Here's what one guy reported about his results...

From what I can tell they put a completely new hand grip and head unit on my upper shaft (including a smaller trigger/toggle), gave me a new lower shaft and opened the 11" coil for some work in there.
