F75 - VDI's - Deep Silver Coins?

Can't help you too much on the F75 but there's enough guys aboard who know it'll do the job. My F70 does great on silver down to about 8".

Deep silver? Get that 5" coil and hit the trashy areas in the park. You won't believe how much is still there that's plenty easy and shallow to find, if you move slowly and listen carefully.

I saw a post here or maybe it was the other forum. It was a video of a guy tugging out old colonial/spanish silver in a cornfield down to about 22".
I think he was using BP mode with the 15" DD coil. The signals were faint but he got them.
I suppose if you have the patience you could do the same.
I know he found a real good site--so it was worth the effort.

the barber dime I got at the farm house the other day was 8 inches on the machine, and I almost knew for certain that it was a silver dime. It was near the end of my second day there and near the end of the dig and the folks that where letting me detect there where slightly protective of the lawn. I said this is the best hit Ive had on your whole property only it says 8-10 inches, ill have to use the shovel, and it was near the main entrance. They said go for it, Im glad with them standing over me out pops the 1901 barber (whew). Of course it doesnt always work out that way. I was getting 72,s and 89s, maybe a quick 92 also on my Vid. Im thinking lately 89 is coming up a lot for my silver dimes by the way. But I tell you there was no grunts or mixed tones, it was totally clear and bell like, it was compact and the exact "sounding width" I like to hear for dimes (do you all know what I mean by "sounding width",?) with somewhat reduced decibels which to me sounded right considering the detector was telling me deeper than 6 inches. Deep silver quarters Im seeing 90-95s- with total confidence bars lit up- its almost unmistakable. the f75 ltd is really great, I mean that, Im not trying to brag either, the machine, when you get used it tells you for sure when to dig. Good hunts, CO

I have the F75 LTD and I run it exclusively in the all metal mode. I switched from DISC on Jan 1 of this year and have found some nice seated silver dimes and half dimes at depths of 10-12" with the sensitivity set at 95 +. I dig any half way decent deep signal. I know that the moon and stars and coil all have to line up but just saying . . . cch.

I Disc at 65 and in DE mode and have done ok with pulling out the silvers.

prankster,
If your F75 has the boost processor you may want to use that with the same settings for your silver.
